Merry Christmas Everyone

What a great time of year! I love celebrating the whole season of Jesus anticipated birth, then His birth and the visit of the wisemen and then exodus to Egypt.

One day of Christmas just doesn't work for me I like to make it last at least oh say, 6 weeks.

We had a nice quiet Christmas with my parents here yesterday. Christmas eve. we went to church and then (up to the top of the hill to my sister-in-laws) for soup and catching up with the cousins. We saw 2 new engagement rings on fingers. That is so exciting......Congratulations Shawna and Lisa. Before we went up to Rod's sisters, we tried taking a few pictures....you'll see what I mean...when my crazy girls get a camera something in them happens.....here are a few pictures.

Rockin' out last night

Good morning....at least I think it is . Last night my friend and I drove 10 youth group kids (including mine) to a concert 3 hours away in Salina,Kansas. We rocked the night away with Thousand Foot Crutch, Barlow Girls, and TOBY MAC. WOW!!!! What a night of fun, incredible worship, and good exercise dancing. Our group was in the front of the mosh pit and man were they excited. I'm old so I stayed by a chair so I could sit once in a while. Standing for 3 hours in a crampt space would kill me. BUT It was such a blessing to see the next generation of the church loving the Lord, and worshiping Him in their way. Then we rocked out to music the 3 hours home again. Thanks Kayla for helping me stay awake. We finally got in at 2:15 this morning. I think I'm going to need a nap this afternoon don't you?

I was at a "Christmas with a punch" SU workshop recently and want to post some of our projects. My consultant is Cindy Boaz and she always has cute projects for us to make. ALL of the projects were made with sets from the winter mini catalog. Stop back when I am a little more awake. haha

RAK:JT's monthly aloha RAK club Oct

Isn't this the cutest card. I want to thank Mia H. for sending me this RAK. She also sent some fun "card treats". I thought it was pretty appropriate because for some reason there have been so many more spiders this year than other years. (any farmers almanac people out there know what that means?) check out her blogsite here miamagicmojo.blogspot.com
This card is kind of a card within a card. The panel with the 31 on it opens to reveal the sentiment. The star holds it shut. I case'd this card for BD card for my MIL's bd yesterday. Its always good to stay on there good side if ya know what I mean.....jk Mine lives right across the road from me and is a wonderful mom and grandma. I live in the country and it's really quiet so just knowing she's over there is like having security close by. I know it's weird......
I'll try to upload a close-up of the inside but this is all new for me. Thanks again Mia. I look forward to getting to know you better. vw

Hi, I'm happy you've stopped by for a look. I've been stamping for a lllloooonnnnggg time, (early '90's?) but I struggle a lot with motivation. I really enjoy creating and making beautiful projects. I love coloring
I've loved visiting your blogs for the last 6 months and now felt like I should make it 2 way communication. Be patient with me while I figure out all this cyber stuff.
Blessings,
Victoria

Here I Go......

I have always been one to venture out into uncharted waters, exploring new places. It was always the natural world I was exploring before. This is a bit scary and exciting at the same time. I hope I can be an encourager when you need encouragement, a friend when you need a friend, and a stamper in between.
