A card I made for an online card challenge. I really love stampin up's butterfly embosslits die. They never go out of style and look great using any color of cardstock and work for many occasions.  Think spring everyone.

Winter birthday card

We do all get a little flaky in the winter, especially by the end of Jan. into Feb. I don't know how it is in your area, but around here we call it "cabin fever". I love snowflakes just not the cold cold that  goes along with it.

time to ride bikes again

 I made this card last fall. Living in the hills and country, bike riding is something I stopped doing when my kids were young unless we took our bikes to town. Now that my kids are grown I'm remembering some of the loves I had before kids. This fall I want to go to town and  ride my bike again. I top card is the inside. The leaves are just some buttons my mom had in her stash. I just cut the shanks off of them and glued them on.

I made this last fall using a layout I saw online. I thought it was so unique to split it in half pivoting up to reveal the greeting inside. The feather I found in the yard and yes I cloroxed it so don't worry. Even though it's simple I like my little masked trick or treater.

I saw this idea on pinterest and liked it so I case'd it using an older set of alphabet I had on the shelf.  It was originally from the Stampin' UP demostrators magazine. On some of them I used jute and some I used baling twine.

Birthday swap cards ready to mail

I signed up for a birthday swap several month ago. Tomorrow I will show you the cards I got back in return . You can never have to many birthday cards. I also am not sure why it wants to underline this. I can't seem to change it.

ATC inchie swap

This is the ATC inchie I received in Feb. from my partner Betsy Hawkins in TN. It's really sparkly on the bottom where it says Happy Valentines Day. We were to incorporate 3 inchies either round or square. I'm pretty new to this tiny art but I'm enjoying learning a new venue. It sure forces me to go get the eyeglasses though. There's No cheating without them on this stuff. Thanks Betsy, its so pretty IRL
